wWll, there's Chevy trailblazer sitting in the driveway.

Funny, doing the paperwork the salesman is obligated to tell us about warranties and insurances and such, and he was at a loss for words on occasin as we don't fit the profile of your avergae buyer. Larry drives truck and I don't drive, so the two year warranty and possibly an extension in 2007 are good enough, we won't put many miles on it. Turns out we don't need "gap insurance" as we have acquired such a new vehicle at a price below Blue Book. We'd make money if it were totalled this year. Fancy that, equity on a used car. It does need another looksee by the dealer, larry says the brakes feel warped. He thinks whoever drove it as a dealer/demo rode the brakes too much, heated and melted them a bit. I guess he'd know.

We drove up Ogden Canyon, swung by the Shooting Star but Des forgot her ID so we didn't eat there. Went up over North Ogden Pass (pretty) and up to Perry. Ate dead ground up bison. Yummy. The rolls and raspberry butter are phenomenal. I was so full I brought half my dinner back home for lunch today.

dragonflies out en masse, have several stuck to the grill. Poor things, they eat mosquitos so we love them, but not dead.

Triple digit weather, the raspberries are ripening daily. Yum I say yum. Picking early in the morning ios great because it is cool, but the bumblebees sleep in the canes and they wake up and buzz at me. Weird insects, they have red bums and I tried to pick one once. How surprising!
